A South African grill experience

We are known for our traditional South African dishes, beautifully matured craft cuts of beef steak and unique venison cuts cooked to perfection. The choice cuts of beef and game are on display in our fridges for viewing.

Our dishes are drenched in African spirit and kept traditional with choices like Bobotie, Ostrich fillet steak and Cape Brandy Pudding. All our South African dishes are highlighted – for your convenience – with our National Flag to indicate its South African heritage and for you to try it out.

With our extensive menu comes well-trained and versed service ambassadors. Feel free to ask them for advise on menu choices, favourites or simply if you cannot decide for yourself.

Our Wines

City Grill prides itself on its extensive Wine List to select from. It comprises of a premium range of South Africa’s top wine estates available at different price points. We strive to represent different wine regions within the borders of South Africa as well as Internationally to provide our guests with the best and most thorough wine experience.

We also offer some rare and special vintages as part of our Vintage Wine Selection. The temperature of these wines is carefully monitored and controlled. Wine enthusiasts are spoilt for choice when looking to experience the wealth of wines the Cape Winelands has to offer.

Our resident Sommelier is on hand every night to assist with wine recommendations and food pairing possibilities. Our Sommeliers/Wine Stewards are: Elvis Dube, Paolo Carrara and Misha Tichelaar.
